So the menu today was:
- Eggs and Coaches Oats for breakfast
- Low fat yogurt
- Turkey sand on whole-wheat sandwich thins
- Yogurt (again)
- Green salad (with Romaine lettuce) with chicken
- Berry smoothie (frozen berries, non-fat milk, protein powder)
Yesterday I said that I would be stepping on the scale today and that I would share that on this blog. Well, I did "man up" and weighed myself. 244.5 lbs. is what the scale said. So here I go, on the way to 214 by September 4th-which happens to be my daughter's wedding day. I plan on "weighing in" on Saturdays, though the temptation is to step on the scale six times per day.
Tomorrow is day two! I am looking forward to building on my efforts from today.
