OK, it wasn't that bad. I did wake up a little before six to do my lower body workout, but I felt a slight strain in my right leg. Yes, the leg that has been troubling me for two months. I believe a grrrrrrrr is in order.
On the nutrition side of things I did pretty well:
Eggs and Coaches Oats
Yogurt
Myoplex-lite bar
Protein shake, half peanut butter sand (with natural peanut butter)
Green salad with grilled chicken breast, egg, tomato (yes, dressing)
Fruit smoothie with protein powder.
I went for a 25 min walk to the park with Yvonne this evening to look at the Jacaranda's in bloom. I'm glad we took the effort, for the exercise and for the beauty of the trees. After seven days I am really enjoying my new lifestyle, and feel really good about my developing habits. So far, so good!
I am looking forward to tomorrow; I get to run!
